Monday 21st January 2008 saw the official UK launch of the New Fiat 500 with a star-studded party held at the London Eye, and Clubcento's President and Secretary were lucky enough to be there.  The event kicked off with top-class entertainment from The Feeling, followed by a countdown to 8pm: 500 hours from the start of the new year.  As the clock hit 8pm, a New 500 was floodlit in one of the capsules of the London Eye, and a convoy of 500s old and new arrived at the venue after parading the streets of London.  The new model was then unveiled on-stage and joined by Mika, who played the evening out in style.  A spectacular welcome for Fiat's newest "everyday masterpiece"!
